3 CLASS OPTIONS TO CHOOSE FROM
Ever wanted to learn how to DJ? Already a DJ and want to improve your skills? DJ’ing is complex and different students have different needs. Because of this we have 3 class options available. Our goal is to provide the best education and experience to each student. We will have everything students need to take class. Please do not bring your own equipment. We will provide the stations that students will be learning on.

6:30 – 7:00 | Instruction Your teacher will spend the first 30 mins of class covering the weeks topic. 7:00 – 7:30 | Hands on Learning Each student will get a chance to try the techniques demonstrated but the instructor 7:30 – 8:30 | Guided Practice Students will break in to three groups and move to one of three setups. The last hour of class is spent practicing the days lesson or working on what you choose.

During this 8 week program, students will receive a comprehensive overview of the evolution and history of the DJ. Students will also learn a variety of fundamental skills that all DJ’s should know. The HERC will provide all the needed equipment, students just need to show up. Course education is provided on vinyl turntables using the SERATO DJ software. Students will also have access to HERC equipment to use for practice outside of class time. Students will also have opportunities to demo equipment and will receive special discounts, provided by PERFORMANCE AUDIO.
